SACRED BLOSSOM TEA
2022 - 2024
We first met Tony DiMaggio during a shoot for Wisconsin Foodie on his small-scale herb farm tucked away in the Driftless region of Wisconsin. Tony’s approach to farming — growing herbs without pesticides or herbicides, using creative polycultures, wild harvesting, solar drying, developing a pollinator sanctuary — immediately impressed us. His teas, made from vibrant whole herbs, have won at the Chicago International Tea Festival. Mike asked to come back to make photographs for the farm and went on to design the tea packaging - a first for him - and to help develop multiple online storefronts and videos.

In 2024, we completed a major project to help Sacred Blossom bring a new Amazon storefront online, with all-new imagery and storytelling goals. Mike managed the effort, handling all photography, graphic design, storefront layout, video pre-production, some video shooting, and assembly editing. Matt focused on capturing the core cinematography and polishing the final edits. Together, we worked to authentically showcase the farm’s beauty, Tony’s passion, and the purity of his teas. This project was a natural meeting point between our experience in food and agriculture, environmental storytelling, and creative, hard-working resourcefulness — the kind of work that feels as meaningful as it is rewarding. We utilized every one of our skills to provide a visually rich brand for a farm that's booming.
