In a special hour-long episode, we worked with Kikkoman Corporation to produce a food story in Japan on the 50th anniversary of Kikkoman's soy sauce production in Wisconsin. This episode highlights our ability to work on high-profile stories with a world-class business. From international travel logistics to rigorous shooting schedules, we brought the pieces into place to help celebrate strengthening the relationship between Wisconsin and Japan.
In this Emmy nominated episode of Wisconsin Foodie, we visit the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin to bear witness to the ten-year remembrance of a gunman opening fire and killing seven members. Creating this episode required filming in a sacred space and paying special attention to cultural etiquette and people’s comfort while being filmed. As one of our most rewarding Wisconsin Foodie experiences, it was a humbling reminder that we are all one, and that through communal meals, we have the ability to gather, share, remember, and celebrate one another.
“We shall be relentlessly optimistic, and fight for peace and prosperity for all mankind.”
In this episode of Wisconsin Foodie, Luke Zahm joins a vibrant celebration of community, resilience, and righteous wood-fired pizza. The event marks two milestones: Flour Girl & Flame’s 4-year anniversary and 35 years of Alice’s Garden nourishing Milwaukee’s spirit. Venice Williams, the garden’s visionary founder, has long cultivated healing, wellness, and food sovereignty in the city.
Capturing the heart of this organically unfolding event was both a creative challenge and a rewarding experience. Filming such a fast-paced, deeply felt gathering in the heart of Milwaukee was nothing short of spectacular.
